AC 220V 1 Channel Optocoupler voltage detection sensor
R44.14 Inc VAT
SAFETY WARNING:
When AC power is turned on, the white framed area should not be touched due to high voltage being present. Electricity is dangerous and a shock can be fatal. Always take note of safety when working with electricity. It is strongly advised that you make use of your local qualified electrician when working on AC projects.
This module can be used to detect if your 220V AC connection is on. A small microcontroller like Raspberry Pi Pico or Arduino can be used for instance to monitor and report loadshedding or tripped circuit breakers. Your microcontroller would have to have it's own backup power though.
Specifications
Board Size: 73mm x 15mm
Function: Detecting whether AC 220V is on
Ouput TTL Level: Can use SCM to test using voltage of 3-5V. Adaptive to PLC 24V level
What's in the box?
1 x AC voltage detection sensor
Resources
Wiring diagram
The 2Pin terminal is for connection to AC 220V
The 3Pin terminal gets connected to your microcontroller.
When 220V voltage is normal the output level is low.
When 220V is powered off the output level is high.
